A city that has been influenced by many distant cultures over time, there is still a village feel in every historic neighborhood. Stroll through the Pombaline area of streets in the Baixa district that opens to the Tagus in Commerce Square, then follow the river to discover some of the most beautiful parts of the city: the monumental area of Belém with its World Heritage monuments, the medieval neighborhoods and the latest contemporary leisure spaces, such as Parque das Nações.
