What We Do

Data Science Portuguese Association is a non-profit entity, made up of individuals, companies and other organizations, with the purpose of developing, promoting and empowering Data Science for a better world. DSPA’s activity is mainly focused in the following areas:

Promotion of Data Science in Portugal and internationally

Knowledge and expertise sharing, innovation, case studies and success stories

Representation of the Data Science sector

Promotion of Regulation, ethics and data security

Promotion of entrepreneurship and innovation of Portuguese companies

Promotion and support to public interest projects within the scope of Data Science

Cooperation with public entities, corporations and the academia

Training and Certification of Data Scientists
